  • Cleanfix sponsors Cote

October 21st, 2011 by Admin in News

Cleanfix, the world-class leader in cleaning innovation, is enjoying a successful partnership with a revived iconic yacht race. Cleanfix has sponsored Cote to compete in the world championships of the Quarter Ton Class. Owned by Darren Marston and Ollie Ophaus, Cote races in the high-profile Quarter Ton Cup, which in its 1970s heyday dominated international yacht racing.

The Quarter Ton Cup is hosted in mid-July by the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club at its historic Cowes clubhouse. The regatta, open to Quarter Ton yachts of all generations, takes place in the central Solent with nine races over three days. Entrants represent the UK, France, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands and even New Zealand, where the class is also experiencing a strong revival.

Cote was just pipped to the post in the 2011 Quarter Ton Cup World Championships, finishing in second place after a comprehensive victory in the 2010 event. In recent years, race entry and standards of competition have increased significantly, with a number of talented and professional sailors getting involved.

The Cote crew is delighted to welcome Cleanfix on board.

  • Future-friendly innovation from the Robo 40

October 21st, 2011 by Admin in News

As part of our commitment to world-class cleaning, we bring you the Cleanfix Robo 40: the winner of the 2011 Cleaning Show Innovation Award. This state-of-the-art robotic compact scrubber dryer automatically navigates and cleans without any manual intervention, leaving personnel free to work on other areas.  We believe it’s one of the most advanced systems currently available.

The Robo 40 meets your environmental obligations, using minimum water content to clean and dry.  Its 28 litre water tank can leave an area of 1200m2 sparkling in 3 hours; it will work unsupervised for more than double this duration, allowing for a single top-up of water.  The super-efficient battery recharge of just 180 minutes allows a double run every day.

Intuitive and extremely easy to use, the Robo 40 has 3 modes of operation: Hall Cleaning, Corridor Cleaning and Random Cleaning.  It provides an attractive option for use in situations where labour shortages for cleaning staff are a problem, or where cleaning costs need to be reduced.

The autonomy of the Robo sealed the deal for the operations team at the Royal Albert Hall.  The flexible scheduling of over 360 high profile events each year meant that a specialised cleaning service was required to meet the prestigious venue’s needs.

The Robo 40 is a serious cleaning machine producing tangible labour savings for schools, universities, hospitals, retail environments, warehouses or public service buildings.

To find out more about the award-winning Robo 40, please call Matthew Marston, our National Sales Manager for Cleanfix on 0800 085 4384.

  • ICE cleans up costs for businesses

October 21st, 2011 by Admin in News

ICE clients can take advantage of a Government scheme to offset the full purchase costs of new water-efficient cleaning machines against taxable profits. We’re one of only 5 UK companies within our market whose products feature on the Water Technology List.

The Water Technology List, managed by AEA Group on behalf of Defra and HM Revenue and Customs, helps businesses save money in the short and long-term by encouraging them to invest in technologies and products that reduce water use and improve water quality.

Water savings are a key area for all businesses.  Manufacturing companies can easily save between 30% and 50% of water and wastewater costs through inexpensive changes to their working practices.

Kate Davis, AEA Group water specialist, said, “The Water Technology List is making it easy for businesses to make important decisions to improve their water use and water quality and save money at the same time.  Businesses will benefit in the long-term through reduced water costs and improved water efficiency and in the short-term by claiming an Enhanced Capital Allowance.”

She added, “ICE is one of the product and technology manufacturers leading the industry forward.  One of the objectives of offering the ECA is to encourage innovation and to encourage companies such as ICE to come up with new technologies to improve water use and water quality.”

If you’d like to find out more about how your business can offset the full purchase costs of new, innovative water-saving machines, please contact Andy Riddle, Director of Strategic Development, on 0800 085 4384.
